Confirmation Service Hours

“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.”

(Matthew 25:40) Remember:

Service is based on the spiritual and corporal works of mercy and most of all on the example of Christ who came to SERVE.
Your service is not a job to be done. Nor is it something you would tag onto a requirement as a member of another organization such as concession stands, Booster Club, Show Choir. Your service hours are selflessly and lovingly helping those in need.
You should reflect on how your service project is helping you take on the mind and heart of Christ, fulfill the needs of others, and build up the Christian community.
Assisting family members – parents; grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; etc. are not to be counted as service hours – we are to selflessly help family members in need.
8 th grade year May (end of 7th grade) through April (8th grade): 3 hours church; 3 hours community
Hours for 8th grade year to be turned in at last class in April
9 th grade year May (end of 8th grade) through April (9th grade): 3 hours church; 3 hours community
Hours for 9th grade year to be turned in at last class in April
10th grade year May (end of 9th grade) through April (10th grade): 3 hours church; 3 hours community
Hours for 10th grade year to be turned in at last class in April

Opportunities for volunteering for various parish events along with contact people will be in church bulletins and in messages on myParish App.
